Miyoo A30 and Miyoo Mini Flip retro gaming handheld release dates detailed with earlier than expected launches
New light has been shed on the releases of two new Miyoo retro gaming handhelds. To recap, there had been rumours that the Miyoo A30 would arrive before the Miyoo Mini Flip. While the former was expected to debut in April, it was unclear when the latter would be ready. Instead, Miyoo confirmed that the Mini Flip was in the final stages of testing.
However, fresh reports suggest the pair could launch simultaneously. Please note that this information comes from a retailer rather than from Miyoo directly. Hence, the release dates are not necessarily official. Nonetheless, they are when Gogamegeek expects to start selling both the Miyoo A30 and Miyoo Mini Flip. According to the US-based retailer, the pair are estimated to be released between April 15 and April 21.
Seemingly, Miyoo has equipped the A30 and Mini Flip with the same underlying hardware as the Miyoo Mini (curr. $71.99 on Amazon). Thus, both should feature dual-core ARM Cortex-A7 processors running at 1.2 GHz and 128 MB of DDR3 RAM for up Game Boy Advance and Playstation 1 emulation. The pair will add joysticks and other improvements over the Miyoo Mini, though. Unfortunately, launch pricing for both devices remain unknown for now.
