Miyoo Mini Flip: Game Boy Advance SP inspired retro gaming handheld announced with pre-release teaser video
Miyoo has shared new details about one of its upcoming retro gaming handhelds. For context, the company recently revealed the Miyoo A30, a Nintendo Game & Watch-inspired option that will ship in four colours. Additionally, Miyoo is nearly ready to release the Mini Flip, which has been rumoured for months.
According to the company's official Twitter channel, the Mini Flip 'is in final testing'. Unfortunately, Miyoo has not shared a launch date yet. With that being said, the company stated that the A30 would be available first in April. Thus, it would appear that the Mini Flip will not debut until May 2024 until the earliest.
Based on the video below, the Miyoo Mini Flip has the same compact display as the Miyoo A30, but presented within a housing that resembles the Game Boy Advance SP. Accordingly, the Mini Flip has a d-pad sat within a circular indent, as well as three front-facing buttons and two LED lights that match the positioning of those in the Game Boy Advance SP. Miyoo has added a second set of gamepad buttons though, plus two joysticks, a USB Type-C port and a MicroSD card slot. If the Mini Flip is as powerful as the Mini Plus, then it should be powerful enough to emulate most PlayStation 1 games.
The miyoo mini flip is in final testing, so stay tuned for new news soon! If you don't want to wait you can opt for one of our 2 consoles:
