Xiaomi Tag: New Apple AirTag alternative launches in more countries

The Xiaomi Tag has officially launched in Europe. This accessory has been rumored for some time and was spotted on the brand's global website earlier in 2026. Plus, it is already available in select markets like Malaysia and Thailand.
Xiaomi's Tag competes with the likes of the Apple AirTag. It is designed to help you keep an eye on the location of your belongings and to find them if lost. The accessory supports both the Apple FindMy and Google Android Find Hub protocols, making it suitable for both iOS and Android device users. Thanks to the built-in buzzer and support for Bluetooth 5.4, a sound can be played to help you locate your item if lost within a short range. For longer distances, the broader network is used to pinpoint the object's location; this can be enhanced when you share the Xiaomi Tag with friends. Another feature is Lost Mode, where you can choose to share your contact details with other Android or iOS users if they find your item. Users can also get privacy protection notifications to guard against unwanted tracking.
The tracker has a white plastic body with a silver colored metal outer ring, measuring 46.5 x 31.0 x 7.2 mm (~1.83 x 1.22 x 0.28 inches) and weighing 10 g (~0.35 oz) in total. It is IP67 rated for dust and water resistance, and its casing is said to be scratch resistant. Thanks to its compact design, it can easily be placed in a wallet or attached to keys or luggage.
In European countries like Germany, the Xiaomi Tag is available for €14.99. Plus, you can save almost €10 when you buy a pack of four for €49.99,
