Moto Tag 2 now available to purchase with discounts in select regions

When Motorola announced the Moto Tag 2 back at CES in January, it said it would be available in select markets in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific in the coming weeks, while availability for North America would be announced in the coming months. However, it has taken months for the tracker to be available to purchase in these markets including the U.S.
The Moto Tag 2 is now available to buy in the UK for £29.99 per piece in either Pantone Laurel Oak or Pantone Arabesque. The official Motorola website also has a pack of four (two in Laurel Oak and two in Arabesque) for £130. Interestingly, the first-generation Moto Tag is also still available for £29.99 while a pack of four is priced at £100.
Those in Germany can pick up a single Moto Tag 2 for €40 or a pack of four for €130 from the Motorola website. However, they are better off buying it from Amazon.de where a pack of four is currently available for €109.50 and a single tag is €32.99.
Buyers in France will have to pay €39 for a single Moto Tag 2 and €129 for a pack of four. In Ireland, the prices are €39.99 for a single tag and €129.99 for a pack of four. It's €38.99 in Finland for a single unit and €129 for a pack of four.
In North America, the Moto Tag 2 isn't yet available on the Motorola website, although a pack of four for the first-gen model is currently on sale for $69.99 instead of $99.99 on the US website. Thankfully, there's a third party seller on Amazon that has the Moto Tag 2, although only in a pack of four for $119.98. The order ships from Amazon, so you can rest assured.
The Moto Tag 2 works with Android devices and connects to the Google Find Hub network. The tracker has Bluetooth 6.0, Ultra-Wideband (UWB) for precise location tracking, an integrated speaker that can emit alerts as loud as 77dB. Motorola says it can also be used to find your phone or as a remote camera shutter, however, a Reddit user in the UK says that the latter function isn't available. It is not clear if this is a bug or Motorola will add the feature later via a software update.
The Moto Tag 2 has an IP68 dust and water resistance rating and is powered by a replaceable CR2032 battery that is reported to last over 600 days before needing to be replaced. There's a companion app that allows users to change the ringtone, adjust the volume, check the battery level, and share your tag's real-time location with trusted contacts.
