Pebblebee has announced two new colors for its Clip 5 Bluetooth tracker. The new colors are in fulfillment of its plan to release two limited edition colors for the tracker every 12 weeks.

When the Pebblebee Clip 5 was announced last November, it was revealed that it would get two limited edition colors every 12 weeks. These colors, launched under a program called Evercolor, will never be repeated and be available in limited quantities for a limited period.

The first set of Evercolor hues were Emerald Storm and Amethyst Purple, and launched under the banner Gemfire. Now Pebblebee has retired those colors and replaced them with new ones.

The new colors, dubbed Subzero and Hot Coral, are collectively called Freeze Frame. Pebblebee says the colors are inspired by temperature, and how they form memories that shape people. The new colors are available to buy now for $34.99, the same price as the standard Graphite color. Save for the hue, the features remain the same.

The Pebblebee Clip 5 attaches to belongings such as luggage, bags, and keys. It has an IP66 dust and water resistance rating, Bluetooth range of 500 feet, and features bright LEDs and a loud audible alert. The tracker also has a rechargeable battery that should last up to 12 months on a single charger. However, it lacks ultra-wideband (UWB) like the Apple AirTag 2 (available on Amazon for $29.99).

The Pebblebee Clip 5 works with Apple Find My and Google Find Hub.

Apart from tracking your belongings, it can also be used as a safety tool thanks to a feature called Alert. Once a user presses the button on Clip 5 rapidly, it emits a loud sound and the LEDs begin to flash. It also sends the user's location via SMS to a preset friend or relative.

While Alert is free, Pebblebee offers a paid version  that costs $2.99/month or $24.99 per year. Called Alert Live, it adds live location sharing and expands the number of friends and family to 5. Pebblebee is currently running a discount on the annual subscription fee, so users get to pay $19.99.
