Nomad Tracking Card Air gets a Google Find Hub edition with longer battery life

Back in 2024, Nomad released a slim rechargeable tracker called the Tracking Card Air compatible with Apple Find My. Now, two years later, it has released a version that is compatible with Google Find Hub (and Android devices).

The Nomad Tracking Card Air for Google Find Hub costs $29 in the US. However, it is only available in black, whereas the Apple Find My version comes in Black and White. The Tracking Card Air is said to be the thickness of 2 standard credit cards, and according to the spec sheet, it measures 86mm x 54mm x 1.7mm and weighs 12 grams.

The tracker has an IPX7 waterproof rating and charges wirelessly on any Qi or MagSafe charger. There's a small red light that illuminates when it's charging, and it turns green when full.

Nomad says the Tracking Card Air has a battery life of up to 7 months, two months more than the Apple version. However, it still pales in comparison to the Pebblebee Card 5, which has up to 18 months of battery life. Pebblebee's tracker is also compatible with both Apple Find My and Google Find Hub and is available for $34.99 on Amazon.

The Nomad Tracking Card Air for Google Find Hub is compatible with Android devices running Android 9 Pie or later. Nomad warns that the Bluetooth tracker will experience interference when used with an RFID-blocking wallet. However, it won't demagnetize or affect your credit cards, as it has no magnets.

The Tracking Card Air is available to buy now on the manufacturer's website, and buyers can get a 10% discount if they buy at least 2 units.
