Xiaomi Poco X8 Pro global launch date tipped as leaked unboxing reveals key specs

Xiaomi has recently launched its flagship models, including the Xiaomi 17 and 17 Ultra, in the global market. Now, the sub-brand Poco is expected to launch its new mid-range series as the successor to last year's Poco X7 lineup.
The new Poco X8 series is expected to include two models: the Poco X8 Pro and the Poco X8 Pro Max. The company recently teased the upcoming series but has yet to confirm release details. Ahead of the official release, tipster @passionategkeez on X has shared unboxing images of the Poco X8 Pro.
The packaging reveals the key specifications of the device, including a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Moreover, it lists the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra chipset, a 6500mAh battery with 100W fast charging (10K Iniu 45W powerbank curr. $20 on Amazon), and a 50MP main camera with OIS.
The same tipster has also revealed that the Poco X8 series could launch globally on March 14. For reference, the Poco X8 Pro and Pro Max are expected to be rebranded versions of the Redmi Turbo 5 and Turbo 5 Max respectively, which launched earlier in China. A previous leak also revealed the renders of both smartphones in multiple color options.
