Xiaomi 17 Ultra gets innovative camera accessories globally

Xiaomi has released the Xiaomi 17 Ultra today during MWC 2026 in Barcelona. For context, the company has presented its new flagship outside China alongside the Xiaomi 17 and the Leica Leitzphone. At the same time, the company has also introduced two new camera accessories for the Xiaomi 17 Ultra to help it compete with the Galaxy S26 Ultra (curr. $1,299 on Amazon).
On the one hand, the company has brought the Photography Kit previously available in China to global audiences. Limited to a black finish, the Photography Kit Pro contains a 2,000 mAh built-in battery, a removable shutter button and a non-slip PU grip that mimics classic Leica cameras. Also, the accessory adds a Fastshot mode with enhanced controls for more taking more precise shots.
On the other hand, the standard Photography Kit contains a slimmer design that Xiaomi claims is lighter and more compact than its Pro-branded counterpart. Still, the Photography Kit comes with a customisable two-stage shutter button, a separate button for videos and a wrist strap. IP54 certified, the Photography Kit is also available in more colours than Xiaomi's Pro variant.
The Photography Kit retails for €99.90 (~$118) in the Eurozone with a choice between Black, Purple and White colour options. Meanwhile, the Photography Kit Pro runs to €199.90 (~$235). Both accessories are available at steep discounts when ordered alongside the Xiaomi 17 Ultra before March 14.
