Volta Max 6-in-1 240W magnetic cable passes $120,000 funding mark on Kickstarter

The Volta Max is a cable of the "everything" type that can be converted between USB-C, microUSB and Lightning at one end thanks to a magnetic system of connectors. Its other end is equipped with a USB type-A adapter (like this off-brand alternative on Amazon) for even more versatility.  

Accordingly, the Volta MAX is in direct competition with the Chargeasap Connect Pro right now - however, the former is rated for the newer up-to-240W power delivery standard (with added 27W Apple Fast Charge), as opposed to 100W in the latter. The MAX is also backed to support up to 20Gb/s Thunderbolt data transfers and connections to 4K/60Hz monitors.

Then again, the Volta MAX is currently the more expensive of the 2, however, starting at £24 (~$31, or 45% off its oneday recommended price) as an early-bird reward. It has also accrued less funding with just over $133,000 at the time of writing, although it has longer (until September 3, 2024) to gather backing on Kickstarter.
