Motorola Edge 50 Neo shown in four Pantone colours before official release
It still remains unclear when Motorola will expand its Edge 50 series, which already contains the Edge 50, Edge 50 Fusion, Edge 50 Pro and Edge 50 Ultra. Nonetheless, leakers like Evan Blass and Arsène Lupin have published more imagery of the device, signalling that an official release should soon be in the offing.
In the process, the pair have revealed more details about the Edge 50 Neo, which Motorola appears set to release in Pantone Grisaille, Pantone Latte, Pantone Nautical Blue and Pantone Poinciana colour options. For reference, these names relate to grey, yellow, blue and red, respectively. Additionally, each model contains inscriptions on their camera housings that confirm the inclusion of a 13 mm ultra-wide-angle camera and a 73 mm telephoto camera that should correlate with 3x optical zoom.
Based on previous leaks, these cameras will rely upon 13 MP and 10 MP sensors, respectively. Moreover, the Edge 50 Neo will offer optical image stabilisation (OIS), although we imagine this is only for its primary camera. On top of that, the handset is expected to land with the Dimensity 7300, a MediaTek chipset that s already available inside the Razr 50 (curr. $699.99 on Amazon). Unfortunately, it remains to be seen how much the Edge 50 Neo will cost yet, nor in which markets the handset will be available.
