Moto Razr 2023
The Motorola Razr 2023 a.k.a. Motorola Razr 40 is already over a year old, but it is still a great foldable smartphone. When it launched in 2023, it cost $699, making it one of the most affordable clamshell foldables in the world. While there are now cheaper clamshell foldable phones such as the BlackView Hero 10 and the Nubia Flip 5G, the Motorola Razr 2023 is still a great phone, and possibly the best choice when compared to BlackView and Nubia's foldables.
At the moment, you can grab it on the Motorola US store or on Amazon for just $399, almost half the launch price.
Motorola Edge 2023
Just as the Motorola Razr 2023 is the cheaper version of the Motorola Razr+ 2023, the Motorola Edge 2023 is the more affordable sibling of the flagship Motorola Edge+ 2023. Currently discounted to just $299.99 on Amazon (launch price of $599.99), you get a phone with a curved 6.6-inch 144Hz P-OLED display, a Dimensity 7030 processor (same as the Motorola Edge 40 Neo), 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage.
It doesn't take Pixel-quality photos, but reviews say its 50MP primary camera and 13MP ultrawide angle camera still capture decent shots. It also has a 4,400mAh battery that supports 68W fast wired charging and 15W wireless charging, although, the charger is sold separately. And with an IP68 dust and water resistance rating, you don't have to worry if it falls in the bathtub. It launched with Android 13 but will be updated through to Android 15 and receive security updates until 2026.
Motorola Razr+ 2024
The Motorola Razr+ 2024 (Motorola Razr Ultra 50 in Europe) is just a little over a month old, so it is no surprise it hasn't received a price cut. However, if you purchase the flagship foldable from the Motorola store, it comes with a free pair of Bose QuietComfort II wireless earbuds. They are not Bose's latest earbuds but they are still premium ones. They originally launched for $279 but can be bought for as low as $225.
Motorola is also offering those who buy the $400 Moto G Stylus 5G 2024 a free pair of its Moto Buds+ earbuds.
