Samsung reveals Galaxy S24 FE is in development through support page leak
The Galaxy S23 FE (curr. $599.99 on Amazon) has been around for less than a year. Nonetheless, speculation about Samsung releasing a successor has been rumbling on for months. For instance, various sources have suggested that the company has prepared Exynos 2400 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 versions of the Galaxy S24 FE, which a recent Geekbench listing reinforced.
Now, SamMobile has discovered a reference to the same device on a Samsung France support page. While the support page does not refer to the device by its retail name, its 'SM-S721B/DS' model number matches recent Galaxy S24 FE-related leaks. In fact, the model number relates to the same Galaxy S24 FE variant that appeared last week on Geekbench, albeit in a dual SIM (DS) guise.
Unfortunately, the Galaxy S24 FE's launch date remains unknown for now. With that being said, the appearance of the device on an official support page implies that Samsung is close to unveiling the device. Based on previous rumours and leaks, Samsung will complement Exynos 2400 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipsets with a 6.65-inch flat display that sits within a 162 x 77 x 8 mm frame. Moreover, the device is expected to land in black, grey, light blue, light green and yellow colour options.
