Samsung Galaxy AI to launch soon for Galaxy A35 and Galaxy A55, but with limitations
Samsung's AI features, which the company calls "Galaxy AI", are currently only available on flagships from the Galaxy S and Galaxy Z series. The cheapest model with support for Galaxy AI is currently the Galaxy S23 FE. However, this will soon change, as SamMobile has learned from its sources.
With the update to One UI 6.1.1, the Galaxy A35 5G and Galaxy A55 5G will have access to Galaxy AI by September. However, not all features that Galaxy AI offers on the Galaxy S24 Ultra will also be available on the cheaper mid-range smartphones. This is hardly surprising, as the Samsung Exynos 1380 in the Galaxy A35 and the Samsung Exynos 1480 in the Galaxy A55 are considerably less powerful than the ARM chips in Samsung's current flagships, especially when it comes to the performance of the AI accelerator.

Details here
It is not yet known which AI features will be omitted from the Galaxy A series. The Galaxy S23 FE already had to do without the option of using AI to create slow-motion videos, so the feature is unlikely to be available on the Galaxy A35 and Galaxy A55.
An overview of the most important Galaxy AI features can be found on the corresponding Samsung webpage here. In addition to Google's "Circle to Search", Samsung also offers a chat assistant that can translate or paraphrase typed messages, a photo assistant for editing images using AI, a live translator for phone calls and an interpreter app.
Galaxy AI will not be available for older Galaxy A smartphones, even if the hardware is the same: the Galaxy A54, for example, has the same processor as the Galaxy A35, but will not be eligible for Galaxy AI.
