ChatGPT now allows free users to generate images by using DALL-E 3 with a daily limit

DALL-E 3 was officially introduced in September of 2023 as a vastly improved model than its predecessor. It is considered one of the best AI image generators to date, capable of creating images with intricate detail. However, at launch, it was exclusive to the ChatGPT Plus members.

Well, that changes today, as OpenAI has announced that the free tier of ChatGPT now offers access to DALL-E 3. But there's a catch. The free users will only be able to generate two images per day. To use the AI-powered image generator, you just need to enter your text prompt describing the image you want to be generated.

While the two images per day can be a big limitation for those who could use generative AI images for creative purposes, the fact that OpenAI is allowing free users access to DALL-E 3 is a step forward. If you want to generate more AI images without any subscriptions, Microsoft Designer Image Creator is a good alternative.
