Timex launches two new Fender-inspired special-edition watches in more markets

Following the US launch, Timex is bringing its Fender collaboration to India with two special-edition watches inspired by the guitar maker’s heritage. The collection includes a 37 mm TW6A14700X6 quartz model inspired by the Fender Stratocaster and a 41 mm TW6A14600UJ automatic model that pays tribute to the Telecaster's 75th anniversary. Both watches feature design elements drawn from the Fender’s guitar heritage while offering different case sizes, movements, and dial designs.
First let’s talk about the quartz model. The Timex TW6A14700X6 comes with a 37 mm stainless case. It gets guitar-themed details such as a tone-knob-style crown and a second hand shaped like a Stratocaster headstock. The timepiece uses a quartz movement and provides 50 m (5 bar) water resistance. You get a mother-of-pearl dial, which is adorned with luminous hands and applied hour markers. There’s no day or date complication here. Plus, the case of the watch is paired with a brown leather strap with quick-release spring bars.
On the other hand, the Timex TW6A14600UJ is a larger 41 mm model, featuring a brown wood-grain-inpsired dial and an automatic mechanical movement. The stainless steel case of the watch is complemented by a two-tone unidirectional bezel. There are multiple elements present on the dial, such as applied hour markers, slim hands, and a Telecaster-inspired second hand. Unlike the TW6A14700X6, it has a date window positioned at 3 o'clock. On top of these features, the timepiece has 200 m (20 bar) water resistance.
As for price, the Timex Fender TW6A14700X6 and the TW6A14600UJ are priced at ₹25,495 (~$272) and ₹48,495 ($506), respectively. Buyers can now purchase these watches directly from Timex India’s official website.
