This OnePlus tablet puts the competition to shame with one of the longest battery lives on the market

With a 13,380 mAh battery and 25.3 hours of Wi-Fi battery life, the OnePlus Pad 4 is one of the longest-lasting tablets on the market.

The measured 25.3 hours of Wi-Fi runtime means, in concrete terms, that a user can use the device continuously from morning until well into the following day without having to unpack the charging cable.

By comparison, the Honor MagicPad 4 achieves only 13.1 hours—just under half. Only the Oppo Pad 5 Pro, with an identical 13,380-mAh battery, matches it at 25.1 hours.

Two days without a power outlet in everyday use

Anyone going on a business trip who can’t access power at a hotel or on a plane will benefit enormously. A typical workday involving video calls, document editing, and streaming uses up about eight to ten hours of battery life—the Pad 4 easily lasts two and a half days on that.

This is also a significant advantage for school classes that use the tablet for several class periods without access to a charger, compared to lighter but shorter-lived devices.

Clearly beats the competition

The comparison in our test is stark: The Lenovo Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 lasts only 14.2 hours. The Honor MagicPad 4 performs even worse at 13.1 hours, even though its OLED display should theoretically be more power-efficient. The OnePlus Pad 4 outperforms both devices by 78 and 93 percent, respectively.

Weight as a trade-off

The price you pay for the enormous battery life is the weight: 675 grams is noticeably more than many competitors. Holding it for extended periods while standing tires the arm more quickly, and the weight is also noticeable when carried in a backpack. However, this will hardly be an issue for those who primarily use the tablet stationary on a table.

Battery life is one of the OnePlus Pad 4’s greatest strengths and clearly sets it apart from the competition. If you’re looking for maximum endurance and are willing to accept the extra weight, this is one of the longest-lasting tablets on the market.
