The OnePlus Pad 3 is the latest device to gain dual Bluetooth audio support. With the new OxygenOS update, users can stream audio to two Bluetooth devices simultaneously.

OnePlus recently confirmed plans to quit North America and Europe, with the company choosing to only operate in India and its home market, China, moving forward. Thankfully, OnePlus will continue to offer software support for all its existing devices as initially promised with the device. Last month, OnePlus surprised owners of the OnePlus 15 series, OnePlus 13 series, and OnePlus 12 with a major update that added support for a super-handy dual Bluetooth audio streaming feature. Now the company is extending this audio sharing feature to one more device.

OnePlus has just released OxygenOS 16.0.9.400 for the OnePlus Pad 3 and, among other features and improvements, it brings with it the dual Bluetooth audio mode that lets you play audio to two pairs of wireless earbuds simultaneously.

The feature works the same way it does on OnePlus phones. Once two sets of Bluetooth earbuds are paired with the tablet, users can stream the audio to both at the same time, making it easy to watch movies, listen to music, or share videos without passing a single pair of earbuds back and forth. Each connected headset also gets its own independent volume controls. And you're not limited to OnePlus and Nord-branded earbuds either—virtually any Bluetooth earbuds or headphones should work.

OxygenOS 16.0.9.400 also packs in a handful of other quality-of-life improvements as well. The Weather app now displays moonrise, moonset, and lunar phase information directly on its home screen, while the app drawer's Categories view gains a new "App suggestions" section that surfaces your most frequently used apps for quicker access.

Device Connect also picks up a useful trick, allowing users to remotely lock a connected PC with a single tap and later unlock it directly from the tablet without entering the computer's password.

On the security side, the update lets users register a backup face for Face Unlock, making it easier to unlock the tablet when wearing glasses or makeup. It also adds one-tap controls to revoke Accessibility permissions from potentially risky apps and bundles the July 2026 Android security patch.
