OnePlus has launched the N6x in India, a new entry-level N-series model built around a 7,000 mAh battery. It is available in two storage tiers, with sales starting August 4 on Amazon India.

OnePlus has officially launched the N6x in India, positioning it as a battery-endurance offering in the sub-Rs. 20,000 segment. The phone went live at 12 p.m. IST today, with sales beginning August 4 through Amazon India.

Battery life

The N6x is built around a 7,000 mAh battery, a step down from the 8,000 mAh cell in the standard N6 but still rated by OnePlus for up to 2.5 days of mixed use. The charging speed is on the slow side at 15 W. The phone also supports 5 W reverse wired charging. OnePlus's own breakdown lists 20.56 hours of video playback, 133.56 hours of music playback, 25.04 hours of social media use, and 11.26 hours of continuous video recording on a single charge.

Cameras

The camera hardware is comparatively modest: a single 13 MP rear sensor with an f/2.2 aperture and 10x digital zoom, backed by a 5 MP front camera. The phone also includes OnePlus's AI Portrait, AI Eraser, and AI Unblur processing tools.

Performance

Powering the device is a MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Apex paired with a 5,300 mm² vapor chamber for thermal management. The phone comes with 4 GB of RAM and either 64 GB or 128 GB of storage.

Pricing

The device comes in two configurations: a base model with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage, priced at Rs. 18,999 (~$200), and a top-end variant with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, priced at Rs. 20,999 (~$220). OnePlus is also offering a Rs. 1,500 discount with select bank cards and no-cost EMI options. The device is available in Burgundy Red and Ice Blue and runs Android 16-based OxygenOS 16.
