Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 (Ultra) launches in three limited editions, including Joker version
Caviar regularly reissues flagship smartphones from Apple and Samsung as expensive limited editions with exclusive designs. The brand-new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 and Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra ($2,299 on Amazon) are no exception, as Caviar offers both smartphones in the "Cinema Legends" collection in three new designs, each limited to 19 units.
The three designs were inspired by the film series Joker, The Godfather, and Scarface. All three variants feature a black-and-gold color scheme, with large Caviar lettering and the respective movie logo on the back. The smartphones are adorned with an enamel portrait of the respective protagonists from the films, which is said to be handcrafted. The gold elements are plated with 24-karat gold.
While these embellishments look stylish, wireless charging is likely no longer possible due to the material used on the back. Aside from that, the features are the same as those of the standard Galaxy Z Fold8 and Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra. Despite the high price, Caviar only offers a one-year warranty on the smartphones. For collectors, Caviar includes an elaborately designed box and a certificate of authenticity.
Pricing and availability
The "Cinema Legends" collection of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 and Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra is now available in Caviar’s online store. Depending on the smartphone model and storage capacity, the limited editions cost between $12,560 and $13,700.
