Samsung has presented another special edition version of the Galaxy Watch6, the fourth so far. To recap, the company kicked off the Galaxy Watch6 series in July with the release of the Galaxy Watch6 and Galaxy Watch6 Classic in two sizes each. Most recently, Samsung launched a Thom Browne version of the Galaxy Watch6, which it sells as part of a Galaxy Z Fold5 package.
This time, Samsung has returned to its Parsons Xtreme Golf (PXG) partnership, last seen in 2021 with the Galaxy Watch4 series. Seemingly, Samsung will offer the new PXG special edition model in a Classic guise, the opposite of its Galaxy Watch4-based predecessor. According to Samsung's South Korean website, Samsung pre-installs the Smart Caddy app on the Galaxy Watch6 Classic PXG Edition, which it also ships with six golf balls and an associated carry case.
Moreover, Samsung has included two special edition watchbands and two complimentary watch faces. With that being said, the Galaxy Watch6 Classic PXG Edition is functionally identical to its regular counterpart. Please see our corresponding launch article for full hardware details. Currently, Samsung has only launched the Galaxy Watch6 Classic PXG Edition in South Korea. At the time of writing, Samsung charges KRW 869,000 (~US$655) for a 43 mm variant and KRW 899,000 (~US$678) for its 47 mm counterpart. The company has not commented on global availability yet, though.
