Garmin releases Beta v14.67 with bug fixes for Fenix 7 Pro, Epix 2 Pro and Enduro 2 smartwatches
Garmin has released Beta Version 14.67 for the Fenix 7, Fenix 7 Pro, Epix 2, Epix 2 Pro, Enduro 2, Quatix 7 and Marq 2 smartwatches. The update brings several bug fixes to the wearables. Firstly, an issue where the Body Battery was incorrect for some activities has been resolved. A UI problem with the music player has been addressed, and the company notes that it has also made improvements to the feature; it does not detail these developments.
Included in Beta Version 14.67 is a fix for a bug which could cause a smartwatch to shut down when you viewed a plan overview for a primary race. Plus, Garmin has resolved a possible problem with the Thai language and translation issues. You can find the latest software to update your watch by going to Menu -> System -> Software Update -> Check For Updates. Garmin has said that, later in this Public Beta cycle, updates will be delivered automatically OTA via Garmin Connect Manager.
The secure_config files were updated on July 19th, so you will also need to install these files if you have not already done so. The company requests that you report any issues in the Beta Bug Reports forum. Plus, Garmin notes that Public Beta updates are unavailable for the Tactix 7 or Marq Aviator Gen2. If you wish to join the Beta Program, you can do so via Garmin Connect.
