Pixel Watch 2: Full European pricing and colour options leak for Google's second smartwatch
Google Pixel Watch 2 leaks are coming thick and fast, as are equivalents for the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro. Previously, Roland Quandt claimed that Google's sec smartwatch would retail for £349 in the UK, £10 more than its predecessor. Presumably the cheaper Bluetooth variant, the pricing remains competitive with the Galaxy Watch6 series and TicWatch Pro 5. However, the Pixel Watch 2 will cost considerably more than the Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro, another Snapdragon W5 Gen 1-based smartwatch.
According to @billbil_kun, Google is planning on an even higher price rise for the Pixel Watch 2 in the Eurozone. Reportedly, the smartwatch will start at €399, a €20 uplift on its predecessor. The same increase will also apply to the Pixel Watch 2 with LTE connectivity, which will carry a €449 MSRP.
Moreover, the same leaker states that Google will sell the Pixel Watch 2 in four colour combinations across its Bluetooth and LTE variants. Reportedly, Google has developed Black, Bay, Porcelain and Hazel colours, two of which have surfaced so far in official and leaked images. Google will unveil the Pixel Watch 2 on October 4, which is the date when pre-orders should also open. For reference, Google will offer a complimentary Pixel Watch 2 with Pixel 8 Pro pre-orders in some markets too.
