Google Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro pricing leaks with Pixel Watch 2 pre-order offer for Pro model

Kamila Wojciechowska and Roland Quandt have leaked European and UK pricing for the Pixel 8 series, Google's next flagship smartphones. Incidentally, the latter recently shared the starting price for the Pixel Watch 2, covered separately. In short, Google's second-generation smartwatch will be marginally more expensive than its predecessor in the UK; the cost of the Pixel Watch 2 in other markets is unknown for now.

Seemingly, the same will be true of the Pixel 8, even in the US. According to Wojciechowska and Quandt, the Pixel 8 will retail for at least US$699 in the US and £699 in the UK, US$100 and £100 uplifts over the Pixel 7. With that being said, Google regularly discounted the latter well below its MSRP to US$449. Thus, there is every reason to suggest that the Pixel 8 will be available for less than US$699 and £699 shortly after its release.
