Samsung has released another variant of the Galaxy Watch 4, its third to date. Previously, the company sold a Thom Browne edition with the Galaxy Z Flip3, which it followed with a Golf Edition. Strangely, Samsung has decided to release another golf-themed model in partnership with Parsons Xtreme Golf (PXG).
The Galaxy Watch 4 PXG Edition features the same hardware as its namesake, including an Exynos W920 SoC and a 1.4-inch AMOLED display. However, the PXG Edition comes in more lavish packaging that contains two watch straps, a leather wallet and a PXG ball-marker engraved with PXG's logo.
Additionally, Samsung has included a QR code for downloading three exclusive watch faces, along with its Smart Caddy app that it also pre-installs on its Golf Edition. For reference, the Smart Caddy app contains data and strategies for over 40,000 courses.
The Galaxy Watch 4 PXG Edition will launch first in South Korea; Samsung has not discussed a global release yet. The smartwatch will be available in black and silver, both in 40 mm or 44 mm sizes. The smaller of the two will retail for KRW 599,000 (~US$507), with the 44 mm variant costing KRW 629,000 (~US$533).
