Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 (Ultra) spotted in a store before launch

The next-generation Samsung Galaxy Z foldables are expected to be officially unveiled on July 22, 2026. The Galaxy Z Fold8, the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, and the Galaxy Z Flip8 have already been seen in three colors each in what are reportedly official product images. Now Reddit user GalaxyNote7Recalled was able to post a photo purportedly showing the three smartphones at a Samsung retailer in South Korea.
As expected, the design matches previous leaks, though a black stripe is visible in the center of the Galaxy Z Fold8’s hinge. This model is also the most exciting, as it introduces a brand-new form factor to Samsung’s portfolio with a 5.4-inch secondary display and a foldable 7.8-inch main display in a 4:3 aspect ratio. While buyers of the smaller model will have to make do with two rear cameras instead of three and a slightly smaller battery, they’ll otherwise get nearly the same specs as the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, including the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.
This is also reflected in the price, as even the base model with 256 GB of flash storage is expected to cost €1,999. Those who want the larger displays and the additional telephoto camera of the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra will have to pay an additional €200. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip8 is expected to be significantly more affordable, with prices starting at €1,299, but, at least in Europe, it’s also expected to feature a Samsung Exynos 2600. The photo shows the Galaxy Z Fold8 in a stylish light blue, while the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra and Galaxy Z Flip8 are shown in black.
