OnePlus: Withdrawal from Europe and the U.S. said to be confirmed shortly

Months ago, rumors had been suggesting that OnePlus would completely withdraw from Europe and the U.S. in the future. Although OnePlus has denied this, more and more sources have confirmed. According to Winfuture, this decision has now been confirmed to members of the press, and an official announcement is expected in the coming days.
Specifically, this means that no new OnePlus products will be launched in Europe or the U.S. in the future. Existing inventory will be sold off over the coming months, and the previously announced software support is not expected to be affected by the brand’s withdrawal. In regions such as India and China, OnePlus will continue to operate, but will only sell affordable Oppo smartphones under the OnePlus brand, rather than developing its own product lines.
This shift began as early as 2021, when OnePlus became a subsidiary brand of Oppo and OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei left the company to found the smartphone manufacturer Nothing. The parent company, Oppo, is expected to expand its presence in Europe, however, and will offer flagship models such as the Oppo Find X9 Pro in even more EU countries in the future. OnePlus isn’t the only brand rumored to be disappearing from the market soon. According to rumors, Redmi, iQOO, or Poco could also vanish from the scene, though it’s not yet known which of the three brands is affected.
