The Galaxy S25 Edge is no secret, with Samsung having publicly showcased the handset during its Galaxy Unpacked event in January and then last month at MWC 2025 in Barcelona. Although the handset's design is already known, its technical specifications still remain unconfirmed. Likewise, Samsung has not offered any indications as to when the device will be available to order.
New rumours have offered fresh insights into the former, though. For example, Evan Blass and Sammyguru have seemingly got their hands on Galaxy S25 Edge promotional material ahead of schedule. Embedded below, Blass' leak reveals hardware highlights like a 5.8 mm case thickness, a 163 g weight and a display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2. Incidentally, Corning has not officially announced Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 yet. Thus, it seems that the Galaxy S25 Edge will be the first handset to launch with Corning's Gorilla Glass Ceramic successor.
The same leak refers to Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset helping the Galaxy S25 Edge achieve 'all-day' battery life too. According to Sammyguru, the handset will achieve this thanks to a 3,900 mAh battery; for context, the Galaxy S25 lasted just over 18 hours in our Wi-Fi tests with its 4,000 mAh battery (curr. $675 - refurbished on Amazon). The website adds that the Galaxy S25 Edge will also launch next month with 200 MP primary, 12 MP ultra-wide-angle and 12 MP front-facing cameras, which somewhat contradicts earlier rumours.
