Hotta Studio rolls out Neverness to Everness Version 1.2 "999 Nights," featuring the global Steam launch, Warren Continent expansion, and Shinku's banner.

Hotta Studio is launching the version 1.2 update for Neverness to Everness on July 8, 2026, titled "999 Nights." The patch is a milestone for the supernatural urban RPG, delivering a massive map expansion alongside the game's official arrival on Steam and the Epic Games Store.

PC players who prefer Steam can finally jump in with full cross-play and cross-progression active from day one. This allows appraisers to freely move their active game sessions between mobile, the standalone PC client, and the PlayStation 5 without losing progress.

Exploring the new Warren Continent expansion

The visual and narrative centerpiece of Version 1.2 is the addition of the Warren Continent, a sprawling new region that players can access by progressing through the main story episode titled "Fighting with a Dragon." The narrative drops the player and their colorful companions into a light-hearted, fantasy tabletop RPG-style adventure orchestrated entirely by the character Mint. This offers a more relaxed shift following the dramatic events of the prior patch's main crisis.

Limited character banners and Shinku balancing changes

Two powerful S-Class characters are making their grand debut during this specific gacha update cycle. Shinku, a highly anticipated Cosmos Esper, headlines the first phase of the limited banner immediately following the conclusion of server maintenance. Hotta Studio has already confirmed direct day-one optimizations for Shinku, adjusting her passive abilities to stack outside of active combat for improved open-world utility alongside heavily refined target tracking for her ultimate ability. Following Shinku's banner window, the second phase will introduce Iroi, an S-Class Anima Esper, whose banner is scheduled to go live on July 29.

Steam global launch and rewards

To celebrate the massive update and the concurrent Steam launch, the developers are distributing a free S-Class Standard Character Selection Box to any player who creates an account and unlocks the in-game mail system before the conclusion of the Version 1.2 patch cycle. Players will also receive a baseline of 600 Annulith in standard maintenance and bug fix compensation directly in their mailboxes. Additional customization systems arriving with the update include an outfit recoloring mechanic that lets players alter cosmetic palettes using newly introduced Dye Orbs. Maintenance will run from 06:00 to 11:00 UTC+8 on July 8, after which Hethereau opens up globally.

In gaming-related news, Bethesda has also detailed the global launch for DOOM: The Dark Ages – Revelations... while Ubisoft confirmed the launch details for Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced.
