The GT83 Titan with GTX 1070 SLI or GTX 1080 SLI graphics will be a full $1000 off. Most purchases will come with free MSI-branded gifts such as carrying bags, mice, mouse pads, and more.

Like clockwork, MSI will be running "doorbuster" deals for the remainder of the month on most of its laptops, monitors, and desktops across Walmart, Amazon, Best Buy, Newegg, B&H, CUKUSA, and other retailers and sellers. The laptop models on sale include the following:

  • GV62/72 for up to $200 off
  • GF63 for up to $200 off
  • GP Leopard for up to $200 off
  • GL63/73 for up to $200 off
  • GS63 Stealth for up to $200 off
  • GS65 for up to $50 off
  • GE63 Raider for up to $200 off
  • GT63/GT75 for up to $200 off
  • GT83 Titan for up to $1000 off

For those unfamiliar with the MSI hierarchy, the GV, GF, GP, and GL series are all entry-level to mainstream offerings that cater to gamers on tight budgets while the GE and GT series are the two high-end models with fancier design features and fast GTX 1070 graphics or better. The GS series is MSI's thin-and-light family that competes directly with the thin Razer Blade series and Asus Zephyrus GX series.

The eye-catching deal from the above list is the $1000 price cut on a large 18.3-inch GT83 Titan. The GT83 is reserved for enthusiasts and it's one of the most powerful gaming laptops available with its Core i7-8850H CPU, GTX 1080 SLI graphics, 32 GB DDR4 RAM, and 512 GB PCIe NVMe SSD. The chassis even integrates Cherry MX Silver switches instead of the standard membrane-based chiclet keys.

Of course, those uninterested in spending $3400 or $4300 on a new laptop can still enjoy $200 off on most other models. Many retailers will be throwing in a MSI Loot Box with each new purchase that will include a carrying bag, MSI dragon doll, and likely other smaller items at no extra charge.

After graduating with a B.S. in environmental hydrodynamics from the University of California, I studied reactor physics to become licensed by the U.S. NRC to operate nuclear reactors. There's a striking level of appreciation you gain for everyday consumer electronics after working with modern nuclear reactivity systems astonishingly powered by computers from the 80s. When I'm not managing day-to-day activities and US review articles on Notebookcheck, you can catch me following the eSports scene and the latest gaming news.
