Acer's top-of-the-line Predator 700 laptop with GeForce GTX 1080 Max-Q Graphics will be $700 off next week along with at least a dozen other models. The promotion will apply to major retailers including Newegg, Amazon, Costco, Best Buy, Fry's, and more.

Black Friday is fast approaching and OEMs left and right have been jumping in on the nationwide shopping frenzy with price cuts across the board.

The latest sale is courtesy of Acer with deals set to begin on November 21st and end on the 27th. The full list is shown below and it encompasses nearly every major Acer product line including the enthusiast Predator gaming series, mainstream Nitro gaming series, ultrathin Swift series, convertible Spin series, budget Aspire series, and more. A wide range of monitors will be made cheaper as well.

While most of these deals are about $100 to $300 off each, one particular deal caught our attention. The flagship 15.6-inch Predator Triton 700 gaming laptop with GTX 1080 Max-Q graphics will be $700 cheaper for a final price of $2000 USD. The laptop doesn't skimp on features as it ships with 32 GB of DDR4 RAM, a 512 GB NVMe SSD, 120 Hz IPS display, and even a RGB mechanical keyboard. Granted, this is a last generation model, but it's certainly still powerful enough to play any modern title at its native 1080p display resolution. It's essentially Acer's take on the Asus Zephyrus GX501.

After graduating with a B.S. in environmental hydrodynamics from the University of California, I studied reactor physics to become licensed by the U.S. NRC to operate nuclear reactors. There's a striking level of appreciation you gain for everyday consumer electronics after working with modern nuclear reactivity systems astonishingly powered by computers from the 80s. When I'm not managing day-to-day activities and US review articles on Notebookcheck, you can catch me following the eSports scene and the latest gaming news.
