Looking to score a good deal on a new smartphone this Black Friday? If you don’t mind hopping on Google’s Project Fi MVNO network, you can get a Pixel, Moto, or LG smartphone at a pretty steep discount today through November 27th.
Project Fi is currently slashing prices on all their compatible phones, so long as they’re purchased through Project Fi itself. Fi is offering $400 off LG G7 ThinQ and LG V35 ThinQ, bringing their prices down to $349 and $499, respectively, upon activation. Pixel phones are also on sale with a $200 price reduction and a $200 service credit applied to your Fi account, bringing the prices down to $599 for the Pixel 3 64 GB and $699 for the Pixel 3 XL 64 GB (128 GB models are $100 more). For Pixel 2 fans, Fi is offering a $350 service credit on new Pixel 2 XL activations. Lastly, Moto phones are also on sale. The Moto G6 can be had for $99 (down from $249), the Android One Moto X4 32 GB is marked down to $149 from $399, and the Android One Moto X4 64 GB has been dropped to $199 from $419.
All of these discounts require that the purchased phone be activated on Project Fi within 30 days of purchase. Considering Project Fi’s attractive and flexible plan pricing, these are attractive deals. Keep in mind that Project Fi is an MVNO that uses T-Mobile and Sprint towers, but if you’re in an area with good coverage and are in need of a new but cheap smartphone, head over to Project Fi’s website and take a look.
