A few days ago, Xiaomi's changelog for a MIUI 12.5 build indicated that the company was about to prioritize the development of MIUI 13, hinting at an imminent launch. A new leak now also brings exciting MIUI 13 news, in the guise of leaked app assets.
As revealed by Xiaomiui, the MIUI 13 official logo has now leaked. While this is hardly special news, it's the first official image from MIUI 13, as it comes from a signed MIUI 13 app. The same app also reveals the MIUI 13 welcome page, with the logo taking center stage and a "Welcome to MIUI 13" message right after.
In addition to that, Xiaomiui has also revealed a few features that will come with the MIUI 13 update; namely Infinity Scroll, Sidebar, and Small Widgets. Nothing particularly groundbreaking, admittedly.
As it stands, MIUI 13 is expected to make its debut on December 28 in China. Xiaomi's next-gen flagship phone, the Xiaomi 12, is tipped to launch alongside it, as is tradition. Last year, for example, Xiaomi launched MIUI 12.5 and the Mi 11 on December 28 as well. We'll be sure to keep you updated on this.
