Stable MIUI 13 updates to arrive for ten Xiaomi and Redmi smartphones before the end of the year
MIUI 13 is on its way, with its logo and numerous feature having already leaked. Tipped to debut on the Xiaomi 12 series, MIUI 13 could also arrive on existing smartphones before the end of the year. Unsurprisingly, the possible devices are only part of Xiaomi's flagship series.
According to Xiaomiui, Xiaomi will release stable versions of MIUI 13 to the following ten devices on December 28. Please note, Xiaomi has not confirmed this is the case. Typically, Xiaomiui obtains its information from internal databases.
- Mi 10S
- Mi 11
- Mi 11 Lite 5G
- Mi 11 Ultra
- MIX 4
- Redmi K40
- Redmi K40 Gaming
- Redmi K40 Pro
- Redmi K40 Pro+
- Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G
Incidentally, few devices will start on the same version of MIUI 13. For example, MIUI 13 will appear on the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G as V13.0.0.1.SKPCNXM, with the Mi 11 Ultra and Redmi K40 Pro on V13.0.1.0.SKACNXM and V13.0.1.0.SKKCNXM, respectively. All builds will be exclusive to MIUI's Chinese branch, though.
Currently, it is unclear when MIUI 13 will launch globally. For reference, flagship smartphones started receiving MIUI 12 globally about a month after their Chinese counterparts. If that holds true for MIUI 13, the likes of the Mi 11 should be eligible for the OS upgrade in late January outside China.
