According to a renowned leaker, Xiaomi has settled on flat displays for the K50 Gaming and K50 Gaming Pro editions. The pair will have centred punch-hole cameras too, along with shoulder triggers like the Redmi K40 Gaming Edition.

Digital Chat Station has shared more information about the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition, which is thought to be arriving in two variants. While the Gaming Edition and Gaming Edition Pro are tipped to feature newer SoCs than the current Gaming Edition, Digital Chat Station claims they will share similarities with their predecessor.

Specifically, the leaker asserts that both Redmi K50 Gaming Edition variants have shoulder triggers, a selling point of their Redmi K40 counterpart. Additionally, the pair will retain their predecessor's punch-hole camera Digital Chat Station adds that it will remain centred too, mirroring the Redmi Note 11 series.

Both variants should have flat displays as well, presumably 1080p panels. Allegedly, Xiaomi has chosen the Dimensity 7000 for the standard model and the Dimensity 9000 for the Pro edition.

Xiaomi is expected to release the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition in early 2022. Supposedly, the Gaming Pro version will arrive in April, but it is unclear when Xiaomi will unveil the standard model. Typically, the company announces Pro models after standard ones, like the Mi 11 and the Mi 11 Pro.
