Ice Universe has shared a hands-on photo of the Galaxy S22, the entry-level option in the Galaxy S22 series. The photo confirms the device's rear design and that it has three rear-facing cameras.

Many details have emerged about the Galaxy S22 Ultra in the last few days, including that Samsung could market it as the Galaxy S22 Note. The flagship has turned up on Camera FV-5, the FCC, Geekbench and even on a Samsung support website, too. However, Ice Universe has now leaked a suspected hands-on image of the Galaxy S22, the entry-level model in the series.

The renowned leaker has only published a photo of the device's back panel. Hence, the device shown could be a dummy model, rather than a prototype. Either way, the photo reinforces renders leaked by OnLeaks, which he shared in September.

As expected, the Galaxy S22 maintains its predecessor's design, albeit with minor changes. For example, the camera housing no longer blends into the frame, as with the Galaxy S21 series. Instead, there is a noticeable edge between the camera housing and the frame. The camera housing looks slightly thinner than the one that the Galaxy S21 has, mind you.

Allegedly, Samsung has scheduled a Galaxy Unpacked event for early February, where it will announce the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy Tab S8 series. In the meantime, the company is tipped to release the Galaxy S21 FE, possibly in early January.
