Leak confirms Samsung Galaxy S22 colors and storage options, including the new Dark Red Galaxy S22 Ultra
The well-known and often well-informed tech leaker who calls himself Snoopy on Twitter today claimed that certain retailers confirmed the existence of the color and storage options for the Samsung Galaxy S22, S22 Plus and S22 Ultra. The base model Galaxy S22, which just yesterday was rumored to retain the same pricing as its predecessor, will come with 8GB of memory and 128GB or 256GB of storage.
Its bigger brother, the Galaxy S22 Plus, will come in the same storage and RAM configurations. In addition to the usual white and black color options, the Galaxy S22 and S22 Plus will get two new colors. One will supposedly be called "green", while the second new "Pink Gold" color sounds a bit more extravagant than the plain gold color of the Galaxy S21 (from US$699 on Amazon). Things get a bit more interesting for the new Galaxy S22 Ultra, whose design will be very reminiscent of Samsung's discontinued Galaxy Note series of smartphones.
The S22 Ultra's 12GB RAM configuration can be paired with either 128GB or 256GB of storage, and the top-end 16GB memory variant will sport 512GB of integrated storage. As previously rumored, this latest leak confirms that in addition to the black and white colors, the Galaxy S22 Ultra will indeed get a Dark Red color option which has already been visualized in beautiful concept renders. As always, it remains to be seen whether these corresponding leaks are accurate or if Samsung has different color and storage options up its sleeve.
