Rumor | The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra will upgrade to a 1TB storage option
Samsung's Galaxy S22 Ultra is expected to effectively absorb all remaining Galaxy Note attributes, both in terms of its looks and its in-built S Pen silo. Both have been allegedly corroborated in yet more images purported to show a non-working, 1:1 model of the top-end phone. It does indeed seem to sport an integrated stylus, found in a frame with a glossy finish, whereas the new rear panel in question is a matte shade of black.
All in all, the S22 Ultra leaks continue to build the impression of a sizeable phablet with a modern, premium design. According to a new leak, it will be the same on the inside, as well. SamMobile claims to have learned that the flagship variant will join a very exclusive club at launch.
It consists of phones sold as new in 2022 with internal storage that doubles the typical 512GB maximum of most Android smartphones. Currently, it admits the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max, with the Realme GT2 Pro rumored to be its only new upcoming member.
A 1TB Galaxy S22 Ultra might be well placed to hold all the 8K video the device might be able to record, not to mention a whole bevy of images taken with its rumored 108MP main sensor. On the other hand, the new rumored spec might oblige Samsung to set an ultra-high price on this alleged top-end SKU.
