Deal | Lenovo Slim 7i 14 Gen 9 (2024) OLED laptop drops to new lowest-ever price of less than $650
The Lenovo Slim 7i Gen 9, or the Slim 7 14 Gen 9, is a portable productivity laptop that launched in 2024. The laptop features a beautiful 14-inch FHD+ OLED display, Intel Meteor Lake CPU options, and up to 32 GB of soldered LPDDR5x memory.
While Lenovo has since replaced the Slim 7i 14 Gen 9 with the Lunar Lake-based Slim 7i Aura Edition, the Slim 7i G9 remains an excellent notebook from all angles that can now be yours for less than $650.
Lenovo is now selling the Slim 7i Gen 9 for only $629.99 on eBay, the lowest rate ever for the laptop. The notebook features an Intel Core Ultra 5 125H CPU, 16 GB of RAM, and 1 TB of storage (linked at the end).
Lenovo Slim 7i 14 Gen 9 is an outstanding value
For $629.99, the Lenovo Slim 7i Gen 9 is an undeniable value champ. From the chassis to the screen and performance, the Slim 7i gives very little to complain about. As such, the machine got a “very good” rating of 88% in our review.
So, what makes the Lenovo Slim 7i so good?
For starters, the Slim 7i G9 has a solidly built no-nonsense aluminum chassis that is both portable and weighs a respectable 1.4 kg (3.17 lbs). The chassis incorporates the same good-quality keyboard that we’ve come to expect from Lenovo laptops. The front of the device is dominated by the multi-touch 14-inch OLED screen.
Despite being only 60 Hz, the Slim 7i Gen 9's 14-inch OLED display is another strength of the machine. Our measurements returned 387 nits of average brightness (600+ nits in HDR), complete DCI-P3 coverage, and an infinite contrast ratio. The display also boasts solid factory calibration.
Moving on to performance, the Core Ultra 5 125H should offer sufficient horsepower for day-to-day tasks. Lenovo has also done a good job cooling the system, as our more powerful Core Ultra 7 155H-based review unit remained cool during testing.
Finally, the Lenovo Slim 7i should also last you a full workday of routine use. The notebook lasted around 8.5 hours in our WLAN test. If this endurance is not sufficient for you, the latest Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition lasts for a whopping 17 hours. However, it also costs north of $1,000.
All in all, the Gen 9 Lenovo Slim 7i 14 should be an excellent choice for folks who are on the hunt for a solid productivity machine.
