The Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition? Over 17 hours.
Combined with a solid 15.3-inch IPS display and a speedy iGPU, the Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition is an exciting portable machine that gets a lot right.
What’s more, the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition price has now recorded a substantial $300 discount that has now brought the Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition to only $999.99 at Best Buy. This is the lowest price for the laptop to date.
Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition is quiet and has a color-accurate display
As we’ve mentioned above, the biggest upgrade that the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition enjoys over its predecessor is the 17-hour battery life. However, the notebook also boasts other qualities that are worth mentioning.
First up, the Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition’s 15.3-inch 1800p touch IPS panel, although not OLED, is a pretty solid panel. It refreshes at 120 Hz, covers 99% of the DCI-P3 gamut, features 479 nits of average brightness, and has a good contrast of 1,591:1. The display also comes calibrated from the factory, making it suitable for content creation workloads.
Secondly, the Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition is quiet during routine use. The fans kick in during intensive tasks but they only get loud when you push the machine to its limits. So, if you are going to be using the laptop for basic productivity work, the Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition will do so without becoming a screamer.
Finally, the Core Ultra 7 256V inside the Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition is a decent performer but leaves much to be desired. However, the true capability of the chip lies in its iGPU, the Arc 130V. The iGPU can play lighter titles perfectly fine, as games like GTA V ran at 140 FPS at FHD/medium. Using XeSS, you can even use the Yoga Slim 7i to play modern AAA titles with low-to-medium settings.
All in all, the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition is an attractive thin and light laptop that is an excellent buy at the $999.99 discounted price.
