For the display, the notebook carries a 15.3-inch IPS panel with support for touch input. Other notable details include two Thunderbolt 4 ports, a keyboard with 1.5 mm of travel, Wi-Fi 7, and an FHD webcam.

Our testing revealed that the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 15 Aura is a solid machine overall with a slim aluminum chassis, good inputs, and a commendable 120 Hz display with 500 nits of max brightness. The panel also showed a 1,591:1 contrast ratio, great factor calibration, and full DCI-P3/sRGB coverage.

As mentioned above, the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition features superb endurance. But, Lenovo has had to cut some corners to achieve this drastic increase in battery life over the Meteor Lake-based Yoga Slim 7i. The key compromise here is the Core Ultra 7 256V. While Intel’s Lunar Lake chip is impressively efficient, the raw performance is just enough for everyday use and not much more.

That said, the Core Ultra 5 256V brings a solid iGPU in the Arc 140V. Intel’s Xe2 architecture allows the Arc 140V to game at 1080p using low/medium settings comfortably.

Long story short, the 2024 Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition is an easy recommendation for folks who need a travel-friendly laptop that has a good display and lasts a long time on a single charge.
