Lenovo's IdeaPad 5i 2-in-1 is currently on sale for just $329.99 with free shipping on the company's web store, marking a steep 60% discount from its MSRP. Note, however, that you'll need to manually apply the “IDEAJANBLITZ” coupon code during checkout in order to get down to that price.
The convertible features a 14-inch IPS touchscreen with a resolution of 1,920 × 1,200, up to 300 nits of brightness, in addition to a rather disappointing 45% coverage of the NTSC color space.
Inside, there's an Intel Core 5 120U processor with two P-cores and eight E-cores joined by 8 GB of LPDDR5-5200 memory and a 512 GB PCIe 4.0 SSD. The soldered RAM and lack of SODIMM slots means the memory cannot be upgraded, but users do have the option to get another M.2 2230 or 2242 drive, which are currently available in capacities ranging up to 2 TB.
Connectivity comprises a pair of 10 Gbps USB-C ports (DisplayPort 1.4, Power Delivery), two 5 Gbps USB-A, a 3.5 mm audio combo jack, HDMI 1.4b, and a microSD card reader. On the wireless side, there's support for Wi-Fi 6 as well as Bluetooth 5.2.
The IdeaPad 5i's part-aluminum chassis measures 12.32 × 8.94 × 0.69 inches (313 × 227 × 18 mm) and weighs 3.53 lbs (1.6 kg), while its 57 Wh battery can charge at up to 65 W with the included USB-C adapter.
