A modder has showcased two Cyberdeck or mini laptop docks designed for the Lenovo Legion Go. Apparently with a view to sharing or selling the files, u/MysteriousAlarm897 has new dock complements an earlier version they revealed with 190 Wh of batteries crammed inside.

The Legion Go has been around for a while now, having debuted in October 2023 with AMD's Ryzen Z1 Extreme APU, 16 GB of RAM and an 8.8-inch display. Incidentally, these specifications mean that the Legion Go is more powerful than the Legion Go S that landed earlier this year (curr. $649.99 on Amazon). However, the Legion Go 2 is now on its way to surpass its predecessor, albeit at a significantly higher starting price than all other Legion Go gaming handhelds.

While the Legion Go is now last-generation hardware, it still remains popular among modders. As Liliputing notes, a Redditor posting as u/MysteriousAlarm897 has now created a second Legion Go dock that transforms the device into a Cyberdeck or an ultra compact laptop.

Initially, the Redditor showcased a 3D-printed dock solution from which a Legion Go could be easily extracted when needed. As the photos below show, the dock adds a Lenovo-branded wireless keyboard and additional USB ports on its right-hand side. Moreover, this thicker example also features 190 Wh of what appear to be 18650 batteries.

Subsequently, u/MysteriousAlarm897 revealed a second 3D-printed dock that swaps batteries for a thinner overall profile. As it stands, the Redditor has indicated that they would consider 'selling or sharing the files' for both docks if they are satisfied with the results. Unfortunately, it is unclear when u/MysteriousAlarm897 plans to do so for the time being.
