The Lenovo Legion Go S (read our review) doesn't have a kickstand, unlike the Legion Go and the Legion Go 2. While you can purchase a case with a kickstand, Lenovo offers a solution that not only provides a kickstand for your Legion Go S but also offers a battery boost.
Called the Lenovo Legion Go 65W 12800mAh Power Bank, this power bank is specifically designed for the Legion Go and Legion Go S, but it should also work with the new Legion Go 2. The power bank attaches to the back of the handhelds via magnets and an included iron plate.
To use it, owners have to stick the iron plate to the back of their device. This lets the magnets in the power bank attach to the Legion Go/Go S/Go 2. Once attached, lift the built-in detachable USB-C cable and plug it into the USB-C port at the top of the device.
The added trick of the Lenovo Legion Go 65W 12800mAh Power Bank is the integrated kickstand, which can be used to prop up the device when placed on a flat surface. This way, the Legion Go S (available on Amazon for $649.99) gets a kickstand. It also allows owners of the Legion Go and Legion Go 2, which have a built-in kickstand, to still prop up their handheld without opening the built-in one.
As its name says, the Lenovo Legion Go 65W 12800mAh Power Bank has a max output of 65W. It also supports 45W max input. There are four arrow-shaped LEDs on the side to indicate the battery level when in use and when charging the power bank itself.
According to the product page, the power bank has overvoltage protection, overtemperature protection, and overcurrent protection. The product page also says it weighs 400 grams, which will add noticeable weight to the handhelds if you choose not to place them on a surface. For context, the Legion Go weighs 854 grams, the Legion Go S weighs 740 grams, and the Legion Go 2 comes in at 920 grams.
The Lenovo Legion Go 65W 12800mAh Power Bank is priced at $79.99, but is not available to buy yet, as the product page says it will be available soon.
