After a CES 2025 debut and a plan for it to be released in May, the Lenovo Self-Charging Bluetooth Keyboard is now available to buy. However, there's only one color available, and the price is significantly higher than originally announced.

Announced back in January at CES 2025, the Lenovo Self-Charging Bluetooth Keyboard was supposed to be available to buy in May, but it missed that release window. The keyboard is finally available to buy now, but the bad news is that it costs more.

When Lenovo announced the keyboard at CES 2025, it said it would be available in May with a $69.99 price tag. Unfortunately, the keyboard now carries a $99.99 price tag, a $30 increase from its expected price. It is also available in a single color — black. There's no info on when the white version will be available or if it will even be released at all.

What makes the Lenovo Self-Charging Bluetooth Keyboard interesting is that it doesn't have a battery. Instead, it uses a supercapacitor to store energy. There's a photovoltaic cell at the top that allows it to absorb power from ambient light, so it doesn't have to be put outside under the sun.

And if you prefer working in the dark, there's also a USB-C port for emergency charging. When fully charged, the keyboard can provide up to 1 month of use. This pales in comparison to the 4-month claim of the Logitech Signature Slim Solar+ Keyboard (available on Amazon for $99.99).

The Lenovo Self-Charging Bluetooth Keyboard has 108 island-style keys with a dedicated number pad. The spec sheet says it has a low-profile 2.5 zone keyboard layout for silent typing. It also has adjustable tilt legs and a spill-resistant design. The keyboard connects via Bluetooth 5.1 and supports Microsoft Swift Pair. Lenovo says it is compatible with devices running Windows 10 and 11, and works with the Lenovo Accessories and Display Manager app.

The Lenovo Self-Charging Bluetooth Keyboard is available to buy directly from Lenovo with a 3-year warranty.
