A leaker who predicted recent Nintendo events anticipates a new game featuring the plumber. Fans are already speculating about whether viewers could see a follow-up to Super Mario Odyssey.

SwitchForce made a string of successful predictions, including the timing of the Indie World and the next Nintendo Direct. Following official confirmation for the September 12th broadcast, he made a curious social media post. His "They buy the new systems for the mustache" comment was in response to another possible hint from Andy Robinson. The Video Games Chronicle Editor-in-Chief described himself as being in a "big Mario mood."

A 2020 Nintendo Direct during the Super Mario Bros. 35th Anniversary unleashed a wealth of new titles. Super Mario 3D All-Stars consisted of retro games like Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine, and Super Mario Galaxy.
