LG releases new UltraGear gaming monitor globally with 1,500-nit OLED display
LG has finally released one of its long-awaited 32-inch gaming monitors globally. For context, the company brought the UltraGear 25G590B to Europe earlier this month with a 1,000 Hz refresh rate. Now, it has returned to the UltraGear OLED 32GX870B, which it initially showcased before CES 2026 on December 31, 2025.
Previously, the 32-inch gaming monitor was sold in markets like Japan and the UK. However, LG has finally expanded availability to North America. At the same time, the monitor can be purchased in the Eurozone, too.
In summary, the UltraGear OLED 32GX870B leverages 4th Gen Tandem OLED display technology to deliver a claimed 1,500 nits in High Dynamic Range (HDR) mode and 335 nits in Standard Dynamic Range (SDR) mode. Moreover, the monitor boasts a 240 Hz refresh rate and a 4K native resolution, which it can double to 480 Hz by dropping its resolution to 1080p, matching the older UltraGear OLED 32GX870A in the processs (curr. $799 on Amazon).
Also, LG includes DisplayPort 2.1 (UHBR20), HDMI 2.1 (FRL) and USB Type-C ports. The latter can charge connected devices at up to 90 W, too. The UltraGear OLED 32GX870B runs to $1,399 in the US and CAD 1,699 in Canada. Meanwhile, pricing varies between €1,278 and €1,356 in the Eurozone. Please see LG's website for more information.
