Acer has revealed the PD163Q-P3 portable monitor. This product features a whopping 3 separate IPS panels, each with a resolution of 1080p and a refresh rate of 60 Hz.

Alongside a new lineup of Predator and Nitro monitors, Acer has also introduced a new triple-panel portable display dubbed the PD163Q-P3.

The portable monitor packs a total of three 1080p displays, each of which can be folded in. This allows the PD163Q to be quite portable and can be slid easily inside almost any laptop bag or backpack.

All three displays feature 15.6-inch 1080p IPS panels with 60 Hz refresh rates. Folks who care a lot about color performance might be quite disappointed, as the triple-panel portable monitor only manages to cover 45% of the NTSC color gamut, which should be about 60-64% of the sRGB color gamut.

Productivity enthusiasts who require a lot of screen real estate will be very pleased with the Acer PD163Q portable monitor.

Acer also claims a peak brightness of 250 nits and GTG response times of around 8 ms. The panel's peak brightness performance might be a bit disappointing, especially for folks who like to take their setup outdoors. The product also requires an external 45-watt power supply. Input is handled by dual USB Type-C ports.

According to Acer, the PD163Q-P3 triple-panel portable monitor will be available starting from Q1 of 2027 with a price tag of €349, or roughly $400.

Folks who find the idea of having multiple external portable displays attached to their laptop appealing, but don't quite require three screens, can pick up something like the AOC 14-inch dual-screen monitor, available for $239 on Amazon.

The Acer PD163Q-P3 tri-screen portable monitor is also VESA-mountable.
