Predator ES Thunder Pro: Acer’s new electric scooter with traction control, RGB ambient lighting and Find My

The new Acer Predator ES Thunder Pro is every bit as wild as its name suggests: Thanks to its 10-inch tires with a tread pattern, the electric scooter can handle different types of roads and terrain and can even be used off-road when needed. Swingarm suspension and a spring shock absorber are designed to provide a comfortable ride. The vehicle is powered by a 500 W DC motor that delivers up to 1,600 W of peak power and up to 32 Nm of torque. This should allow it to tackle inclines of up to 28 percent, while acceleration and uphill riding are designed for higher and, above all, more consistent power delivery.
For added safety, the 26.5 kg scooter’s rear-wheel drive and tubeless off-road tires are supported by traction control to prevent wheel slip, providing more traction on wet and slippery surfaces. Braking is handled by disc brakes at the front and rear, plus rear eABS. In addition to the daytime running light at the front and the taillight, RGB ambient lighting in particular helps improve visibility.
The Find My and Find Hub platforms also contribute to security, this time with a focus on theft protection, allowing the Predator ES Thunder Pro to be easily located via an app. The Acer eMobility app offers a range of other features as well: It provides real-time access to the vehicle status, remaining battery level and riding data. Users can also access the electronic lock, lighting and other vehicle settings.
Anyone who wants to get an early look at the Acer Predator ES Thunder Pro should head to IFA 2026 in Berlin, where Acer will be at booth A5 (Hall A). Otherwise, a little more patience is required: The electric scooter is expected to become available in Europe in the first quarter of 2027, with an initial price of 799 euros.
