The Chinese manufacturer Ori Future has unveiled a machine that automatically mixes cocktails. The cocktail machine can hold six bottles of spirits and also features refillable cartridges containing natural flavorings supplied by the manufacturer.

Ori Future is a Chinese company that was founded in 2022 following a Christmas party where everyone in attendance admired the crystal-clear ice cubes served at a bar. That sparked the initial idea of making crystal-clear ice at home. Two years later, the company launched a small ice maker roughly the size of a thermos bottle, allowing users to make crystal-clear ice cubes in a variety of shapes, including diamonds, spheres, skulls, and more.

Four years later, at IFA 2026, the young company has incorporated the ice-making concept into a full-fledged cocktail mixer with the Ori Mix. The Ori Mix looks almost like an espresso machine, but has four taps around it where bottles containing different types of alcohol can be placed: rum, vodka, Campari, whiskey, tequila, and more.

The machine also features a kind of storage cartridge at the bottom that can be pulled out. It contains a whole range of natural flavors, each neatly numbered, that can be added to the spirits to create a cocktail. Recipe suggestions are available in the accompanying Ori app. Here, users can choose from a wide range of recipes based on the ingredients they have available and then start the mixing process.

Anyone who wants to see the cocktail machine in person has only today, September 9, to do so at IFA in Hall 25, Booth 177/199. Incidentally, niche kitchen appliances seem to be “in” right now, as we also spotted a tofu machine at IFA, which we reported on here.
