Motorola Signature 27 flagship smartphone makes its debut in first teaser image

Anyone visiting the European Motorola website right now is greeted by a large banner promoting the Motorola Signature 27. The teaser includes not only the slogan "A New Perspective Is Coming," but also a first image of the flagship smartphone – though it reveals very little about the design.
This is because the image shows only the back of a smartphone with at least two cameras in a rectangular or square module. Anyone interested can provide their email address to Motorola to stay informed about news regarding the Motorola Signature 27. So far, there have been no rumors or leaks from reliable sources regarding this flagship smartphone. The first-generation Motorola Signature was released in January 2026. If Motorola follows a similar timeline for the new model, the launch is likely scheduled for late this year or early next year.
The first-generation Motorola Signature ($1,049 on Amazon) is a flagship smartphone that, while not quite as powerful as its top-tier competitors due to its Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, is offered at a slightly lower price. The device features three 50 MP rear cameras, a 50 MP selfie camera, a 165 Hz AMOLED display with a brightness of 6,200 nits, and a 5,200 mAh battery. In our in-depth review, we were particularly critical of the significant overheating under heavy use and the only-average battery life. These are precisely the areas where the Motorola Signature 27 could use improvement.
